There is no doubt that our original inspiration for this Coltrane design belt came from the classic look of a wingtip shoe. Over the years we came up with multiple iterations of this design before putting it into cold storage for a while. This season is it back in a new guise, where we have taken a soft, tactile pebble grain leather and layered it over a contrast tone suede. The 2 different leathers blend together perfectly and are further embellished by the stitching detail which varies in both tone and thickness along both the edges and inner detail. I would pair this belt with a fairly simple buckle, the belt has enough going on not to need anything fancy. Perhaps a buckle with some texture would be nice to pick up on the mottle edge leather. The end result is a belt that is eminently stylish and really versatile to wear. Pair it with leather or suede shoes, denim of course. A belt that will always show your attention to detail and desire to stand out, subtly, from the crowd.
